Dromeosaurus "In situ" mini diorama

There is an interesting story behind the 8 inch by 8 inch plaque type mount. A long time ago I actually made a full raptor skeleton with a tiny 1" long skull, about 1/10 scale. It was very tiny and delicate. At the time I was not as experienced at casting so to cast such tiny bones in a kit proved to be too much. After a few home moves it got damaged and I decided to just stick most of the bones in plaque and make an idealized "in situ" type dig scene.

It makes a neat little addition to your home museum and is fun to paint and detail.
